SPECIAL SERVICE IN AMOREBIETA AND ERMUA

Train E1 (July 15, 22 and 24): Night service will be strengthened on the occasion of the Ermua and Amorebieta festivities

Euskotren will run a special night service into addition to the regular trains for the festivities of St. James in Ermua and Our Lady of El  Carmen in Amorebieta

In addition to the regular Saturday night service, with trains running Matiko/Bilbao - Deba - Matiko/Bilbao every two hours during most of the night, a special service with extra trains will be run on the following sections: 

•    Amorebieta – Traña – Zaldibar.
•    Ermua – Deba.

The train service between Amorebieta and Bermeo will be the regular Saturday night one, with trains every two hours. In this case, due to the expected number of passengers, the trains from or to Amorebieta will not stop at Amorebieta Geralekua, and the Euskotren night transport and passenger assistance services will be centralised in Amorebieta Estación. One night on which the trains from or to Amorebieta Estación will run on the following sections (in both directions):  Amorebieta – Bermeo, Amorebieta – Matiko/Bilbao and Amorebieta – Deba.

On Saturday 22 July, a similar service will be run for both festivities. In the case of Ermua, there will also be a special service between Ermua and Eibar on the night from 24 to 25 July.

Saturday night train service

Euskotren reminds passengers that it runs a night train service on Saturdays to make it easier for them to enjoy going out at the weekend.  That service is available on the following sections:

•    Matiko/Bilbao – Deba.
•    Amorebieta – Bermeo.
•    Lezama – Matiko/Bilbao – Kukullaga/Etxebarri.
•    Hendaye – Lasarte Oria.
