Euskotren to run a special tramway service in Vitoria-Gasteiz for ‘La Blanca’ festivities from 4 to 9 August

Euskotren will put on extra trams in Vitoria-Gasteiz from 4 to 9 August to make it easier for the citizens to get around during the ‘La Blanca’ festivities. Special services will be run during the day and at night. However, there will be disruptions to the service in some sections and at specific times for events to be held. 

4 August: Celedón’s Descent 
As the festivities get underway with Celedón’s Descent, trams will not run on the Sancho el Sabio - Angulema section either during the day or at night. The trams will be disrupted until the start of the morning service on 5 August.

Trams will also run more frequently from 4.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. approximately. They will run every 10 minutes on the Abetxuko and Ibaiondo lines, while the frequency will be 12 minutes on the Salburua and Unibertsitatea ones.

5 August
On 5 August, the service will be disrupted on the Parlamento-Angulema section from 12.00 noon until the following day (6.15 a.m.).

The tram service will run more frequently from 12.00 noon to 2.00 p.m. They will run every 10 minutes on the Abetxuko and Ibaiondo lines, while the frequency will be 12 minutes on the Salburua and Unibertsitatea ones.

6, 7, 8 and 9 August 
On 6, 7, 8 and 9 August, the service will be disrupted between Angulema and Parlamento from 1.00 p.m. to the following day (6.15 a.m.). On 9 August, the service will also be disrupted between the Angulema and Sancho El Sabio stops from 11.30 p.m. 

NIGHT SERVICE
A night service will be run every 30 minutes on all lines from 4 to 9 August. 

In the case of the night service from 9 to 10 August, the service will be disrupted between the Angulema and Sancho El Sabio stops from 11.30 p.m. until the end of the service, which will be at 4.30 a.m. on the 10th on the last night of the festivities.
