The Euskotren Basque Railway Museum, a Public Company dependent on the Basque Government, will operate 10 Steam Trains this Easter, starting on 18 April (Maundy Thursday). This will be the launch of the 2019 Historic Train Season of the Basque Railway Museum. The trains run between the museum’s facilities in Azpeitia and Lasao.
On Tuesday, the Basque Railway Museum, which belongs to Euskotren, a Public Company dependent on the Basque Government, opened an exhibition dedicated to the “Pyrenean Iron Route”. It is a traveling exhibition put on display at the various museums that make up this route, including the Basque Railway Museum (Azpeitia-Gipuzkoa).

Once again Euskotren has closed the financial year with positive figures; it has registered an overall 9.27% increase in passengers taking into account all its transport modes (railway, metro, tram, cable car and buses).
The Basque Railway Museum, which belongs to Euskotren, a Public Company dependent on the Basque Government, will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, 8 January, after closing for the Christmas holidays.
