Euskotren to run a special train service on 27 October for the Last Monday of Gernika

Euskotren will put on extra trains on 27 October on the occasion of the Last Monday of Gernika agricultural fair. During the whole day, extra trains will be run on the E4 Matiko – GERNIKA – Bermeo line to make travel easier; the service will be more frequent at the peak busiest times. 

The essential characteristics of the service will be as follows:   

- E4 Matiko – GERNIKA – Bermeo:

The train service on the Matiko – Gernika – Bermeo section will run every 30 minutes during most of the day. Extra trains will be put on the morning to meet a foreseeable increase in demand. 

- E4 Bermeo – GERNIKA - Matiko 
 
Special trains during peak times will be put on in addition to the usual service every 30 minutes on the Bermeo – Gernika – Matiko section.

The Institutoa halt will be out of the service during the whole day. The Lurgorri halt will also be out of service from 9.00 in the morning. 

The organisation of this special service will mean one-off changes to the trains running on the E1 (Matiko/Bilbao – Amara/Donostia) and E4 (Matiko/Bilbao – Bermeo) lines, which is why Euskotren recommends that train passengers check the timetables on the official APP or using the search engine on the www.euskotren.eus website.
